Currently sitting on a rooftop in the Slovenian mountains and zipping my late lemonade, I felt a sudden inspiration for summing up our Copenhagen Fashion Week experiences. This was my 5th season being active during the Fashion Week in the Danish capital but the very first time covering it for SilkSoFine. Luckily the season brought us many shows, launch parties, connections and a bunch of inspiration and experience that is hard to express through words – I guess I can still feel some excitement as I recall the events. On the very first day we’ve got six shows in a row starting with some backstage work and ending with SilkSoFine’s scandinavian love, Henrik Vibskov.
I almost forgot, the night before we enjoyed some stunning garments and bubbly drinks at the Vanessa Bruno x Tomorrow’s Journal launch in the heart of Copenhagen. The second day wasn’t any less rich in action; among others Wood Wood, the finnish interior and clothing brand Marimekko, and Han Kjøbenhavn got place on our busy schedule next to the Marimekko store opening, some chit-chat with Yvan Rodic, and the Wood Wood after party. The last day is always the best, even though the hours of sleep you had doesn’t reach four, the buzzing fashion atmosphere makes up all the tiredness – seven shows, a backstage interview and a sparkling after party was on the menu. The very next day, last but not least we were invited to an exclusive Georg Jensen collection review accompanied with luxurious drinks and beats by the talented voice, Oh Land who’s also the face of the latest jewellery collection of the eponymous danish brand. Not bad right?

Das war für mich die 5. Saison, in der ich während der Fashion Week in der dänischen Hauptstadt aktiv war, aber das aller erste Mal, dass ich für SilkSoFine da war. (more…)
