And another beautiful collaboration is to be made with the French designer, Isabel Marant, which I’ve been really hoping for deep inside ever since H&M did its first collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld and afterwards with Stella McCartney back in 2005. What I love about Marant is that her designs carry the real aesthetics of a Parisian woman with all of her effortless coolness, chick edge and style, while suggesting this great easiness in attitude. Marant said to Elle earlier today: ‘Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality’ – and I guess it explains a lot. Her signature style is all about glamour with a rock’n’roll edge, elegant yet androgynous, and this makes her designs very unique and contemporary, not to mention the genius way as she incorporates ethic details that people actually crave to wear in the 21st century. The collection will launch into store in 250 stores worldwide and online on the 14th of November. We’ll see you in the queue!

Once you get a felicitous nickname, it will stick with you forever. This is what happened with Sarah Jessica Parker who will never be the SJP without the reminiscence-pieces of Carry Bradshaw from the eponymous series, Sex and the City. Probably most of us secretly awaited the collaboration, which is finally yet to come true and be launched together with George Malkemus, longtime head of Manolo Blahnik and will display a rather SJP-of-a-kind than a Carry Bradshaw-of-a-kind shoe collection besides an edit of bags and a few trench coats. As stated on Vogue earlier yesterday ‘The actress is taking inspiration from “great old-school labels like Charles Jourdan and Maud Frizon” for her collection, with the aim of offering “something different” – in terms of shape, colour, and price.’ The SJP collection will be produced entirely in Europe and New York City, and will be on sale exclusively through US retailer Nordstrom early next year. We cannot wait to see what tastemaker SJP comes up with;)

Lancôme Hypnôse Show, featuring the most emblematic range of Lancôme mascaras, dressed by Alber Elbaz

Since we are living in – and some of us are probably also very literally living the decade of collaborations, here is a brand new and a rather great one from Lanvin’s Creative Director Alber Elbaz, who teamed up with the French beauty house, Lancôme for the sake of a makeup collaboration. The final video is the reveal of the capsule collection just went live on Monday, June 3rd. The full length animation is the lifelike visualisation of the whole buzzing fashion week atmosphere, where flashes, heels, makeup, and iPads take over, while displaying beautifully bright colours, a sense of humor and those iconic Alber Elbaz illustrations. The limited-edition makeup collection is set to be released on June 15th and will include mascaras, pigments, eyeshadows and – for the first time at Lancôme – exclusive false lashes. It’s a happy project – like we needed it – it’s about a story, a tale; it’s both vivid, fun, beautiful, enviable, but most of all – as Elbaz explained: ‘It’s a project which makes your eyes shine, literally, but notably in a figurative sense…’ Can’t wait to get my hands on one!

Jimmy Choo has yesterday revealed that the star (face and feet) of his next campaign will be the Oscar-winning actress, Nicole Kidman (45) in the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2013/14 campaign. Nicole Kidman is no stranger to fashion ads, having posed previously for Omega watches, or as the face of Chanel No. 5 for years. But the latter was sort of a classy and intimate match of the fragrance and Kidman. Now, we are looking ahead to an exciting collaboration, where she’s gotta play a sexier role – judging from Choo’s previous campaigns. As it was stated in Vogue: The imagery was shot last month by photographer Mikael Jansson and is described as having ‘a cinematic feel that hints at the power and seduction of the Jimmy Choo woman’. The adverts will premiere globally in August issues.

To celebrate Diet Coke’s 30th anniversary, Coca-Cola has collaborated with Marc Jacobs on a special limited edition of Diet Coke bottles in three kinds. As part of the special ‘Sparkling Together For 30 Years‘ celebrations, the designer has made over the iconic bottle with three stylish and exclusive designs to celebrate each of the three decades since the drink was launched. ‘I Heart ’80s’ embodies the rise of the empowered woman in all her glory, while ‘I Heart ’90s’ is about extravagant attitude of the era where fashion, music and art collided in a glamorous exploration of strong femininity and daring attitude, and ‘I Heart ’00s’ is a playful and lighthearted illustration of the sporty-cool decade, embodying humour, sexiness and energy and edge. I love how Marc’s designs are making a nice match with my bottle from the previous Jean-Paul Gaultier x Coca-Cola collaboration.

Today I dropped by the shop called BIK BOK in Copenhagen (where I previously purchased my all time favourite wool sweater), but just before I checked their website to see what’s currently on the shelves. And there was the breaking, and so much awaited news I’ve been waiting for so long: the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for BIK BOK collaboration is coming in the Fall 2013 season. I think H&M does it pretty smart with all the collaborations they have, but I’ve always been looking forward to a collaboration with the two-of-a-kind tastemaker twins. No doubts, that the whole Scandinavian market is impatiently waiting for the collections, in hope of something unusually chic and stylish, with much anticipation. The Olsen sisters have achieved a great success with their brand: The Row, and there is no doubt that their collections for BIK BOK will make a stir on the market. What we know in advance is that the collections (three in number) will reflect Mary-Kate and Ashley’s vision with inspiration from ruling trends with the Scandinavian ‘It-girl’ as a role model. We are keen to see the collections!

Looks like H&M is being highly optimistic about the coming of summer, and just recently published probably their all time hottest campaign with Beyonce. The editorial was shot on the beaches of the Bahamas and features both a print campaign and a commercial. The idea behind the collection is that all women can be all things: strong, vulnerable, sensual, maternal, fun, flirtatious despite age or body-shape. ‘I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial’- says Beyonce after the photo-shoot. The swimwear and resort range will be available  from the beginning of May in H&M stores worldwide and online. Cannot wait to pick up a piece or two!
