With the age and having worked and lived in the ever-changing fashion industry since quite a bit, ones’ shopping habits need to show some sort of consciousness and loyalty towards your own personal style. By the way, are guys any conscious shoppers? Anyway, what my routine is lately that I’m trying to make inspiration boards, browse streetstyle blogs and most of all check my garments from last season to see what could be mixed and matched with my new in-s. Besides the must-have pale-pink wool coat, I’ll definitely go for a pair of thigh-high suede boots, preferably the flat ones though. While searching for the proper style, I ran into this lovely video staring Kate Moss for Stuart Weitzman‘s AW13 ‘Made for Walking’ campaign video. As much I love everything about the shoes, that much I love the video too; directed by independent filmmaker Balthazar Klarwein, the short film brings to life the tangible thrill of Kate Moss stepping out in central London wearing Stuart Weitzman boots paired with her very own stylish and sexy attitude. If the shoes and Moss herself wouldn’t be appealing enough, a modern remake of the classic Nancy Sinatra song ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking’ is played throughout the video. Will you guys get a pair too? – because we are sold!
(more…)

Avant-garde seems to be having a persistent Renaissance. I am not really sure if it is the constant pursuit of people to create something new or because radicalism has a new allegory. When it comes to fashion avant-garde indeed has a reference with exactly 20 letters: Maison Martin Margiela. Although the designer has Belgian roots the couture house is French. And not only French but also one of the leading designers from the fashion metropolis Paris, arguably influencing what is happening in this fashion universe. (more…)

DO WHAT YOU LOVE WHAT YOU DO. This has been my mantra, my sunlight and my base of motivation for several years now. And it is still firmly fixed in my belief, making me smile every day because doing what you love does make you a happ(y)ier person. Indeed it can be a privilege to do what you love but besides all it is not about privileges here but about faith. Faith in yourself, being independent from others and having a clear vision. So clear that constantly drawing your vision into the air is finally assuming shape. Talking about I want to present you one of my favorite stores in Berlin. W A L D. This is what a visual concept based on faith and motivation and the ‘Do what you love’ thing looks like once it is conceptualized and brought into shape. (more…)
Mango AW13 campaign (All images: Mango)
I’m sure that the following statement won’t be valid for all of you guys due to the international readership, but I do feel that Autumn is coming. The nights are a little chilly, the summer breeze often brings rain instead and I feel comfortable wearing biker boots or denim jacket, so I guess it’s time for a little wardrobe inspiration for the colder days this time from Mango. Victoria’s Secret darling, Miranda Kerr literally rocks the edgy looks in Mango‘s Fall 2013 lookbook, thank to the leather-stud-checques match. The whole collection suggests the ‘lets get the grunge chic mood’ in a mix of plaid, denim and floral prints styled by Geraldine Saglio. The images were shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin with NYC as her backdrop. “I had a great time shooting the Fall/Winter campaign for Mango with Inez and Vinoodh,” she said to ELLE. “They are an amazing team to work with – we had such a good time together. The clothing is especially fun this season with a punk‐inspired edge.” Happy shopping!
(more…)

Since Ganni is represented by the Berlin based Agency V in Germany, I got to admire the collection for a while now and I took advantage to capture some photos for you showing the current Ganni collection.
When it comes to the Danish label Ganni there are two main themes that are processed within her collection: class and independence. I could possibly come up with a debate on principles here, something like whether the word class refers to the design or whether it is meant to connect with the independence itself. Effectively Ganni calls it classy clothes for independent women. I consider a classy women being independent and the other way around. The second option may not be as strong and cogent as the first one, but still makes sense in some way. (more…)
As stalking the supermodel’s Instagram earlier today, Gisele Bündchen was officially spotted shooting some upcoming ads on the streets of London during the previous days – turns out the supermodel was working on H&M’s fall campaign. H&M has worked with some pretty big names these past couple of years and shortly after Vogue leaked the top secret info after the gossips back in May, the brand finally confirmed the exciting news. If that weren’t enough, the busy-beautiful mom is also currently the face of Chanel beauty still being blessed with perfect genes. It’s no wonder she has been the highest-paid supermodel for nearly a decade! By the way the Autumn/Winter range will include soft wools and leathers in the palette of Earth colours such as ivory, khaki, beige and black. We cannot wait!
(more…)
Ever since I’m living in a Nordic country, I was amazed by women’s skin here…Despite all the age issues, their skin stays beautiful, and by that I mean naturally fresh and healthy looking. It has probably much to do with the positive attitude that rules here, but also lifestyle habits and the quality skincare products they are using. Anyway, some swears for sleeping, some swears for make-up. And here comes the ever-perfect Chanel that besides its clothing line leads the beauty segment too. Their latest beauty campaign titled, Where Beauty Begins is starring the new Chanel Cosmetics’ face, the 37-year-old still too-gorgeous-to-believe Diane Kruger. The actress and style icon exudes ease and self-confidence in the short film showing her everyday things such as walking the streets, chilling in a cafe or posing on the beach – all done in a perfectly finished skin. The movie well suggests the idea of earning beauty needs care, so ladies, do a favour to yourself and keep on mind that the less you stress, the more you sleep and the healthier you live the longer you will manage to keep your skin fresh and young!
(more…)
I hope you guys appreciate today’s post, because it’s special in a sense that it’s featuring menswear, which is quite rare on the blog. It has two and a half reasons why I couldn’t just ‘walk away’ from mentioning it; most of all it’s ZARA, and that’s already something worth to be mentioned, the second is that the scene is happened to be the beautiful Budapest, and a half is that every woman needs a stylish man;) ZARA’s men’s collections always manage to stay masculine and sleek by aiming the men on the go. Making a return for the fall collection, the range includes chinos, leather jackets, trench coats, tailored blazers and oversized bags in the selection of heavy materials – perfect for business or travelling as well. The black&white images and the streets of Budapest recalled the perfect forwarder of the winter months, not to mention the masculine silhouettes and clean lines worn by dashing young models…As can be expected from Zara A/W13 collection it is such a simply yet sophisticated affair that is effortlessly stylish.
(more…)
Feels like summer has just arrived and we are already craving the fall collections; London streets, long legs, hats, a touch of greyness and monochromes by Zara, that has released its fall 2013 campaign on the 1st of August featuring a cast of gorgeous models including Julia Nobis, Juliane Gruner, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Mijo Mihaljcic and Ashleigh Good. Patrick Demarchelier shot the advertisements, while Marie-Amélie Sauvé styled the girls in a mix of bohemian and timelessly elegant styles. The bunch of girls are posing and rushing on the streets of London looking stylish from head to the toes as they take over the rhythm of the city. The collection features straight cuts, fine leathers, wools with rough seams, formal wear in dark blue shades and some floral printed sheers in the colours of autumn. Do you wish deep down that summer was over yet?

Dutch model Cato Van Ee is starring the July 2013 lookbook of fashion label Mango and yet very literally rocking the leather biker jackets, combat boots and ripped denims. Since the festival season is constantly on we all want to add a sense of cool and edgy to our summer wardrobe, and that’s exactly what Mango has for us. Since the Kurt Cobain era I tend to think that blonde woman dressed in ripped jeans and chequered shirts are the hottest on Earth hence – in my opinion – Mango couldn’t have found a better model than Cato Van Ee who’s previously walked the runway from Miu Miu through Prada to Marni. Besides the pastels and sheer fabrics the grunge effect is definitely back this summer in terms of ripped and worn-out denim shorts and skirts, black leathers, boots matched with minis. How do you guys feel about it?
